Thing is, we don't really know squat about what the 360 is shipping, cause MS is combining numbers. How do we know the XBO is down worldwide this quarter? Just because it's down 50k in the US? Remember, it is availible in a lot more countries now than it was first q last year. Because of that, and some insecurities about the PS3 shipments (some years it was combined with the PS2 shipment), we don't really know exactly how much neither the 360 nor the PS3 has shipped. Based on what we know, it's a tie.

This. They also don't know where to put some 360 numbers in relation to territories. So they just.... don't. Gen is over. 360 came second. 

We don't talk abouut Lifetime numbers.

400,000 PS3 this quarter is confirmed.

For the XB360, we know that XBOX have ship 1,600,000.

As i said, the last XB360 official numbers is Jan NPD, when it is dropped by only 15% YOY... XB360 have ship 800,000 last year.

So, XB360 must have a super 50% dropped compared to last year, and seem very unlucky considering the last numbers.

For the XBO...

Is coming in other countries, ok, but don't forget that in the US is down by 6% YOY with a 150$ pricedrop.

Maybe you forgot that XBO pricedrop in the other region (UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, ecc) is "only" 100€ ?

So, if is down YOY at 150$, in the other countries is probabily MORE down YOY.

Any way, 1,300,000 XBO shipped and 300,000 XB360 is impossible...

My estimate as i said are 500,000 XB360 and 1,100,000 XBO, and if i can, 600,000 XB360 and 1,000,000 XBO seem way more reasonable than 400,000 XB360 and 1,000,000 XBO.

We know that XB360 is overtracked by 2,000,000 in the US.

So, 84,400,000 on VGChartz is now 82,400,000 globally, if we adjustment the US sales...

XB360 is heavy undertracked in some counrties of Europe or rest of world.

And i right with XB360 at second place this gen.

Actually we don't know any of that for sure. What we do know is the floor and ceiling for both PS3 and 360. The reason for uncertainty in numbers is due to MS and Sony hiding their numbers on their finances.

Like I said, we do not know with certainty who is second place right now. One cannot affirm one way or another.

Yeah, i doubt because probabily is at 500,000/600,000...

PS3 have ship in the best scenario at the XB360 level, but probabily less.

And is not so surprise, considering that in the holiday 2014 XB360 have nearly double the PS3 shipment (1,100,000 VS 2,100,000).

It is not the proof that the Ps3 is ahead ? If the Ps3 manages to be just 5000 behind the X360 in US so it is probably ahead in Europe and in the rest of the world. 

No, because we don't know the other sales outside the US...
