We went all the way through March without having a single chart published with March sales numbers. Various reason were posited for this unprecedented phenomenon, but assurances were given that this was not a sign of serious dysfunctionality. And it did appear for a while that things had got back to normal.
Now this hitherto unprecedented phenomenon looks to be repeating for the 2nd consecutive month. What are the reasons now?
It is now less than 33 hours until May GMT. We are still yet to get the chart for the final week in March for a single territory.
Things are going seriously wrong with the numbers at VGChartz and no one is prepared to be open about what's going on. This is not good enough. What's happening here. Is there a new paradigm now, is this going to be an ongoing pattern? If so, at least tell us and we can alter our expectations.
Is the final week of March being delayed until the big 3 give their annual reports and VGC has a shipment benchmark against which to validate its LTDs? If that's the case, tell us that's what happening. Don't give us the silent treatment. The unwillingess to proactively communicate on these things is amateurish.
