Forums - Gaming - Final Fantasy 15 Skips E3 for Gamescom

I dunno even if it was a spring 2016 release, a June 2015 showing at E3 should be more than doable.

This is sounding more like a late 2016 release (or gulp ... 2017).

Around the Network

It'd be cool if anyone payed attention to the whole interview/ATB, it really shows how much of a humble guy the director is, and that he takes our criticisms seriously, well, valid criticisms anyway.

I'm now filled with determination.

Gamescom has had more visitors than E3 for a few years now.

Yes but you didn't say that. You said "bigger". To me, that implies that the gaming industry pays more attention to it than E3 and I really don't think that's the case. E3 has become less over the last decade, but it's still our Super Bowl.

Bigger show is the one with the most atendants. How do you propose to quantify what "the gaming industry pays more atention to"?

It does seem like E3 is more directed at investors, but i'm not sure that makes it bigger. From a gamers point of view that isnt visiting the show, the biggest one would be the one with the best unveils. Its always subjective.

I'm sure reddit could accurately judge on which show gets the most attention. Have you seen the way major outlets transform during E3? Ign damn near implodes. Joystiq use to do the same. That doesn't happen for anything else.
