No. They've got a stacked holiday and at this point no competition during it.

Ruined its launch?? Its one of the best launches of all time, it was the months after where it all went wrong. Fell to sub OG Xbox levels iirc.

We all know though it was their unveiling that put a knife to the consoles throat, it will have to battle with that for the rest of its life.


Ruined it's launch compared to the PS4's launch. I'm sure it would of been much higher if it never announced those policies.

Halo 5 wont make a difference, maybe it will be up in the 2 following months after release but for the entire year it will probably be down.

PS4' hasn't had any official price cuts though. It's a very important factor to take into account. It's basically flat YoY and a price cut will eaily put it above last year's numbers.

Even if Xbox One has another price cut and Halo bundles, those will be competing with last year's cuts to keep up with YoY sales.

Looks like this thread (made by February) is not so silly now.

My opinion?

XBO will sell more this year, i'm go with 8,000,000 (compared to 7,500,000 of last year)...

After that, nothing will save XBO to a massive dropped, no Gears, no pricedrop, no DX12, no slim version, NOTHING, the sales will dropped like a rock and XBO will sell under 40,000,000 lifetime.

LMAO for who STILL predict +10,000,000 in a year.

No, GC have sold around 2,000,000 in 2001.

If you look the US sales, GC is increase by a very strong +50% in 2003, and even in Japan the sales are rise by a small margin.
