Why not a PS All Stars movie?

This.

Give Pauly Shore a job.

Makin' copies!

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Ehh, I dunno.

I don't think Super Smash Bros. would translate too well into a movie.

It's pretty silly to think that just because one Mario movie was bad, all possible Mario movies would be bad.

People were also... 'skeptical' about Hyrule Warriors because of the unmentionable 3 CD-I games. People are just silly like that.

Honestly, I don't think that would benefit Sony nor nintendo with Sony acquiring film rights for mario at this point. Nintendo would be better off making a limited deal with netflix on a few animated shows. Maybe a super mario, zelda and metroid shows. Nintendo really needs to start trying to stir up consumer interest in creative ways to reach as many people as possible. They would actually make money off of that and it would help promote their IP's. Netflix is mainly watched via consoles by the way.

Netflix series would actually be a pretty good idea, considering how popular Netflix is at the moment. Of course there were rumours about a Zelda series. Lets hope there was some truth about it.

Very old news which has been discussed here.

Included in the deluge of Sony executive emails, memos, PDFs and presentations released on WikiLeaks earlier this week is one little nugget that will warm your inner child's heart: Sony may be trying to nab film rights to the Super Smash Bros. series.

Then I must have read it at facebook or twitter. Hmm. My mistake that I assumed I read it here.

They should make 3D animated TV shows for every series in Smash Bros, including the three (four soon?) third party series and one like the more T rated Pokemon special, as well as Splatoon and Codename S.T.E.A.M. - then 2 / 3 series into them dedicate the second half of that respect season to 'rips in reality, torn by the HANDS of a god from the void'. BAM movie time!

Maybe.

I guess I'm just not a huge fan of tv/movie adaptations of video games in general.

Understandable, Pokemon and Kirby have done it well though.
