It got what it deserved. Great game. But loading screens were painful.

I hated it. I'm not a metal gear guy to begin with, but I thought it would be a fun stealth/action game to try out (especially due to lack of other games out at the time on the PS3) but mannnn it sucked I thought. Good graphically and all that but the gameplay itself just wasn't what I was after.

While it's probably the weakest MGS in my eyes (not counting PSP games), I disagree. The game's a masterpiece.

Yeah, MGS3 was amazing and 4 felt like a step down. I remember feeling like it didn't have enough stealth to it.

Also MGO was a step down from 3

Not for me, I really rather enjoyed it. It set a quality standard for me as far as stealth/TPS's went for many years.
