Also a lot of polls and lists around the interwebs, and Bayonetta is always in the top 20.

At this point I will be SHOCKED if K Rool isn't DLC. They would certainly go with characters that will sell very well, and those are the highly requested ones.

That doesn't mean they will automatically choose #1 in the real Ballot.

Possible. But surprising. Most of the characters I expected are up there...not in that order, perhaps.

Shantae or Issac be great additions, had no idea anyone cared about King K Rool.

I'm very surprised about K. Rool and Shovel Knight. And it's sad to see that people still haven't given up on Ridley. (according to the pic a few posts above this one)

Out of the whole list, I just want Isaac, Inklings and Bayonetta.

I think the reasoning for that is because most people probably know that Ice Climbers will be added regardless (kinda like how they added Lucas just by the fans asking) and I feel like they will do the same with Wolf.

As for Shovel Knight, I'm honestly not surprised by it. Idk why, I just aren't.

Snake being on the list offends me

Well, seven if you count Nana and Popo separately.

I seriously doubt Nintendo will try with Snake. After all the Kojima nonsense with Konami. I still don't get the appeal for K Rool. Wouldn't Ridley be a clone character to Charizard? Seem people love clones.
