According to Digital Foundry, not well. Struggles to achieve 30 fps and seems to dip into the teens during heavy action.

This is one of those games I'd recommend on next gen primarily for the frame rate.

This is confusing on so many levels. if you mean current gen, then wii U is included in that. If you mean next generation, then we don't know if watchdogs will be available or what hardware will exist by then.

Not confusing at all, we know what he means... X1 and PS4.  Yes the Wii U is part of "this gen", in that it was the first console released during the generation.  However, let's not pretend that hardware-wise it's not more in line with the 7th gen HD twins than the other current gen consoles.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Heh, Freudian slip.

I tend to lump Wii U in with PS360 because its capabilties are in the league of a 7th gen console.

It's in the discount bin at my local Best Buy for $24.99.

Batman was $20, so was Rayman, and Zombi U is $14.99, lol.

I got Batman.

As others are saying. If you don't own PS4/Xbone, then get it for the WiiU.

As someone who has played WD on both PS3 and PS4. I can say that the versions made for last gen hardware, look terrible. Specially frame frate and lightning.

Watch dogs is certainly worth playing I think, especially now as the worst glitches have been patched. Now its biggest problem is the odd story decision early in the game that impacts the emotional connection throughout the game.

If the Wii U is the only option you have to play it and haven`t played it, then sure, give it a go. If you have other options, maybe you shouldn`t bother, unless it`s the cheapest option for you.

I never did use off TV play for this game. I do know it has it.  I just used the gamepad and TV. And it was nice and felt like a step up over the others being able to use the gamepad as a map. It will make the game much easier than you think.

My point in asking is that some games run poorly when both tv and gamepad are on. I only played AC games with gamepad or tv for that reason. Big difference.

Yes, you should. Just like you bought Assassin's Creed 3. Someone who is unwilling to learn doesn't deserve any better.

This really is the best argument in this thread so far.

No. Its a shitty game as most third party games are.
