pls

yes it is, its 8 years old from the day it was discontinied/became irrelavant. People who dont have room for an snes to be set up neither have for a ps2.

Wasn't it discontinued in 2013?

But that was just a joke post from me. The PS2 is old, but compared to the 2600 it's just a kid.

ikr? Also, IkePoR said the DS is old.

Remember back in the day when we'd play retro games like Resident Evil 4, God of War, and Halo? You know, classics!

Yep; the SNES I got in 1994 is still hooked up to my TV, and I play it often.

I haven't as much recently but I do go down to a store nearby every once and awhile and pick up some older titles.

If the price is right I'll gladly dip into some older games I never had the chance to experience or even games that I just no longer own for whatever reason.

Well, I do still play Super Mario Land, my favorite Mario game.  Does that count as old?  :p

Sure! I keep an old CRT TV around for my NES, Genesis, N64, Saturn, etc. Plus I'm constantly tracking down older generation games, either digitally via Virtual Console, PSN, GOG, or Steam, or physically via second-hand shops. There are still so many third, fourth, fifth, and sixth generation games that I need to play.
