Would Fire Emblem "IF" Be Good for a $50 Game? (Thats Both Black/White Kingdom in One Game)

Basically in japan both games are full length games sharing just the first 6 chapters (where the protagonist chooses which side to be on).

We also got info, though this could be speculation at best. White Kingdom story line will be similar to past FE games, especially Awakening. It'll have extra grinding maps like Awakening. As for Black Kingdom, its a more difficult game. It'll be more traditional FE with little to no extra grinding/a limited number of weapons/etc. It'll have a story line that acts as a civil war as well, with yo flipping the tables from the inside out!

Note: The regular MSRP for 3DS games are usually $40, with some being $30 or even $35. There are quite a few games however that are $50, i think all of them are heavy jrpg titles. $50 would be pretty damn good if the game is indeed each roughly the length of lets say Awakening.

Thoughts???

BONUS Im just going just speculate here...

SMTIV was 50$ so I see no reason FE:if couldn't be...I think that would be a great deal for both games

I Wouldn't mind paying $50 for it since it is looking to be the best FE to date! Max I might pay would be 60 but that is reallyyyy pushing it

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

It's definitely a contender. Since I don't care much about price, I would buy it regardless of how expensive it is. I just hope Intelligent Systems doesn't get too greedy...

If the game is as lenghty as they promise, I wouldn't mind paying 50€. I paid 45€ for Awakening at release, so that's not that much difference.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Yeap, There will be complaints, but i dont see why if and only if each game is literally its own game.

I do know there are reasonable concerns however, the main one being White Kingdom and Black Kingdom will just mirror each other by chapter. As i fear this could be a case, i doubt it will be solely on the fact about 2 things...

1. White Kingdom has many grinding chapters, Black Kingdom wont. That right there would bring total unbalanced for Black Kingdom buyers.

2. Black Kingdom has another main objective other than being a country that wants to conquer others. Its going to be a civil war type game. If thats the case White Kingdom wont have much to do with that obviously!

Anywayz we need more info.

The DLC which i guess will be $15 or $20 here looks lke its going to be yet its own game. Its where the main Protagonist chooses not to join either side. Wonder what that'll be *.*

$60 special edition with DLC of third entire story free :000000

I guess I could see $29.99 each or $49.99 bundled, wouldn't be a horrible idea.

Good post i feel the same, but i think if they play their cards right, a $65-$70 experience for this FE would be on point. I included the DLC which is by itself supposedly its own unique story/game. Its where the protagonist goes without choosing a side!

Compared to the DLC in Awakening, though it wasnt exactly needed, i think this is good in itself. This game will indeed determine once again if FE will continue or change its mechanics!

I doubt they do seperate versions here, but if they did it would be $40 each with the other game being DLC for about $12-$15.

Im hoping for both versions in one, $50 is fine for this game, i pay $60. It'll give me more than many console experience $60 game anyday :)
