As for the marketing. Weren't they also showing commercials for Majora's Mask 3D and the New 3DS other adult channels that had Duck Dynasty and things like that?
I think they're getting there. They've still got a ways to go, but Nintendo is getting there. So maybe if they market this game around Halloween on some channels like that, this game could do good for its standards

Another mature exclusive. It certainly gives me more reasons to buy a wiiu one day

I would say that the Persona U (aka FE X SMT) is a mature game. In fact they say at the begining that is expected to be rated "mature"

SMTxFE or whatever the final name is (Illusory Revelations #Fire Emblem is the (rather roughly) translated Japanese Title I think?) is anticipated to be M rated/mature game. Giren it is a blend of the concepts of the SMT and FE universes, I think mature themes are an absolute guarantee. There's also ZombiU, if that suits your fancy. Wonderful 101 is not "mature" but definitely a more "core" gamer game, if that means anything to you. I wonder if we will see yet another 3rd party colab exclussive at E3? I wouldn't be surprised.
The Fatal Frame games have never sold well in the west. I'm surprised we actually managed to get three of them over here. I suppose there's a chance this one could sell given that it's one of the few horror games coming out on Wii U. It's not like it has a lot to compete with unlike the old Fatal Frame games.

When even Donkey Kong Country has trouble selling on Wii U, don't get your hopes up for niche titles doing well
