My disappointment stems from the fact that this is false advertising.

Metroid Prime 3 x Mario crossover: you can get Mario stickers for your spaceship!

There's clearly a Fire Emblem-related twist on the story. It is not a minor aesthetic detail. In fact, aesthetically the game more greatly resembles the works of Atlus, which must be what's upsetting you because we haven't seen enough of the gameplay or story to conclude that they draw nothing from Fire Emblem.

You don't think it was obvious that they were intentionally witholding the Fire Emblem content from this video? We didn't even get a single proper glimse of anything except Tiki. They're holding on to that for future trailers. Nintendo fans know what Fire Emblem is. Persona is new to many of them.

That is a very interesting point.

We should all know that the game is nowhere NEAR releasing anytime soon. Plenty time for new trailers and more gameplay to be shown!

The game's been in developement for 2 years. Samus should NOT be dismissing it now. Give the developers some more credit, y'know?

It looks too Japanese for me anyway.
I hate all these ridiculous looking outfits and overly Japanese stuff.

I'm still willing to give this a try if this somehow reviews well. I just hope Intelligent Systems has no hand in this and is working on a Wii U game I really want (Paper Mario).

A few of you guys a crazy or just hating. So, what if it's only FE in terms of skin and characters? It's an RPG by Atlus, it's going to be at the very least good, if not awesome. And gameplay? There was little gameplay mechanics shown, all we saw was some walking around and some battle icons/UI. All we know it the gameplay doesn't seem to be FE based. I hope you guys aren't the same ones who've criticized Nintendo for using old formulas.

YAYAYYAYAYAYYAYAYYAYYAYA.

AMAZING.

I was referring to some people who said the system doesn't look turn based, if anything it looks to be Persona like outside of battle and FE like inside battle.

I don't think we can determine that yet. Fire Emblem doesn't really have an "inside battle." Directing units on a top-down map is Fire Emblem's battle system, and we saw nothing of the sort here. Choosing attacks in menus is SMT/Persona's battle system, and we saw nothing of the sort here. All we saw are character models attacking each other, which might even simply be part of a cutscene (although it looks like the cutscenes are mostly pre-rendered anime stuff).

This will get them excited for future trailers when their favorite FE characters show up to save the day.

Honestly, my annoyance is that it doesn't look like SMT either. It literally looks like a different game from a different company. They announced a crossover between SMT and FE, and then release a trailer that looks like Persona. And I know that Persona is a spin off of SMT, but they didn't show Persona characters in the teaser two years ago; they showed main series SMT characters. Aside from the one shot of a torn down city, and that Tiki girl, it barely looks like either series.

"Too Japanese"

You would know what I mean if you ever watched anime.

I loved how Persona 5 looked and I loved how this game look. I´m hyper happy with this game, and some fans must be more open-minded, this is not the usuall Fire emblem, Ok, this is the king of Jrpg that non-nintendo fans use to love, and i´m really happy with atlus and nintendo opening the public for their game and for wiiu. And I want this as much as i want persona 5, but i´m not going to buy a ps4, so something of a similar style on WiiU with fire emblem characters and story elements is great.
