I agree. This pricing screams "we're shifting all the excess stock we overproduced" more than anything else. I just also don't think they're really taking a hit on profitability with it. Look at items like the Rasberry Pi. Chips like these are so cheap now, without the screen, control inputs, gyroscopes etc. PSTV is just a really cheap box.

It is a pretty cheap device but showing of amazon last month $40/$50 definitely means overstock/not buying it. Regular vita never was close of dropping $50+ on 1 deal.

 

Vita is profitable though, despite what people say. HH gaming is dead..... lmao

That was my first thought too.

 

Amazon has turned out to be a good indicator of whether one console or another will win a month.  Anything beyond that seems to be useless it seems.

You should be able to.  I bought my PSTV bundle (with DS3, 8GB card, LEGO game) for $73 (United States).  And it's been worth it.  But you really need to be deliberate with want you what it to do.  I hope we all know by now that it will NOT do "everything".  But it's a nice slice of convenience if there are enough personal factors for the particular individual to make the purchase worth it.
