Amazon unfortunately doesn't show the increase in unit sales with this percentage, it's a funky calculation entirely based on the increase in sales rank on the Amazon site.

They make a profit on each unit sold, even before factoring in memory cards. That's why they'll be happy for Vita to carry on trucking as it is. Obviously the costs are lower on the PSTV though as it's just the board, cartridge + memory card slot AV out and wireless. Wouldn't surprise me if they can make them for a fraction of even the lower price point.

It's exactly the same as the Vita in functionality. It's big hurdle is game compatability. However games like Guacamelee have even been adapted so that there is local multiplayer on a single device.

It depends (im talking just the psv tv). Its being heavily cut in price, i wouldn't be surprised if it gets discontinued end of this year, its tracking i believe under psp go.

Vita TV in US was $100/$140, if the price goes down to $50/$60 within the year of release i think it'll definitely get discontinued.

Of course im one of the few that believe sony is good with the vita, its not only abut the HW sales. I still think they can push another HH next gen

I agree. This pricing screams "we're shifting all the excess stock we overproduced" more than anything else. I just also don't think they're really taking a hit on profitability with it. Look at items like the Rasberry Pi. Chips like these are so cheap now, without the screen, control inputs, gyroscopes etc. PSTV is just a really cheap box.

Only used mine for P4G, but it was worth it

Hope I can play Persona 3 FES, or whatever it's called on PSN and use a Dualshock 4 that way.
