Yes, and the fist two things are just silly. Not sure why they can't get along and make games.
Last time it was like this I think of bunch of people got laid off and games canceled or suspended.

Don't forget Sony shitting on my dreams by making Evolution a Driveclub only company.
Couldn't care less though about any of the other stuff.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
The worst? Final Fantasy XIII going multiplatform. That was a kick in the nuts.

I don't care about most of that so i'd say no

I seriously can not imagine any Nintendo fan being against this. It is like some of you guys want Nintendo to completely and totally fall off the rader. Handhelds are probably only going to have one more good gen and Nintendo has not proven they can make a successful home console (one really successful out of their last four) |
Sometimes people think that numbers like the N64, GC or Wii U can keep Nintendo well. What they forgot is that, while they were flopping, the GBC, GBA and 3DS were doing good numbers. Remove the portables of the equation and things get grim.
However, I share the main concern that this could create a Nintendo that isn't focusing in their core gamers on consoles anymore and that's the origin of the discussion. I myself don't see this as an issue, Nintendo is on a new venture and they won't damage their secure source of money (consoles) for an unknown one.
What goes up must come down in Nintendo's case. For investors, mobile development is a fever dream and some way from realization, while the reality of sagging 3DS sales and dismal Wii U sales endures for the day.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
Gravity Rush coming to PS4 and Kojima leaving Konami... :(

Then what seperates them from MS and Sony who are better at what the majority of gamers want? Nothing against Nintendo but the vast majority of gamers will take Uncharted or Halo over any Nintendo franchise. |
For a very tortured definition of "gamers," perhaps.

Kojima leaving was probably one of the best news. I'm a big MGS fan like any other but dam I felt sorry for him. That guy seemed like he was tied down slaving away for Konami solely to make MGS games. Now he's free to expand and hopefully create alot of other new games.
