If they listen to the criticism of the first and put some hard work into this, I think I will be picking it up

Also since this game is going to be multiplatform I'd expect and knowing how many do nto root for EA let alone Respawn I'd at least expect no sales war crap for this game, if there is then we know which side it's likely to come from, they should quit there and then and be glad that they get to play the game.

I don't mind the game being mostly multiplayer, the campaign itself isn't exactly amazing and it doesn't strike me as the type of game that reall badly needs a cinematic super deep story to it.


The first was in fact multiplatform.  3 different platforms to be precise.  

 

Regarding people hoping it sells bad unless they drastically improve the sequel I'll be hoping it sells bad.  It's like Evolve.  That's on the ps4 but I really hope it doesn't sell.

They solved the biggest issue already by releasing it on PS4 :P

you forgot PS4 version might be the crap version again after recently RE:Revelations 2 and DMC definitive edition...

It's good that they're going to release it on more platforms. Doesn't really affect me too much, since I'd get it on PC anyway, as long as it's better than the first one. Also...

No single-player = no buy from me.

I was interested in this game since the first time it was shown. The gunplay looks cool and its developers have pedigree.

I'll get the sequel if it has SP campaing and it's made with PS4/Xbone hardware in mind. TF1 is clearly a last gen game ported to Xbone.

I'm aware it was on 360, XB1 and PC, I was clarifying by saying it would be nice if they dumped the 360 and focussed on the PS4,XB1 and PC versions.

I cant say I'm seeing people hoping that a sequel that's not even out yet sells bad, I'm honestly having a blast with the current one with the DLC being free for me and getting the game on a cheap sale.

I find hoping that a game doesn't sell to be a tad childish, I could say I;d hope BB doesn't sell because I dislike the Souls series as a whole (don't mind my friends talking about it or us using the memes) and how From neglected Armoured Core and it's fanbase and other platforms on a back and forth basis, I'd have a point but it really doesn't get me anywhere in life by hoping it sells bad, it just means From won't get any attention or money from me in the future.

I'm sure the 2nd game will do fine though, I mean now PS4 players get to play the game so there's going to be good numbers with all 3 platforms combined.

Well I didn't really have any interest in the first one, probably wont have any in the sequel. I'm pretty much done with FPS games unless they do something really different. I hope they at least have a decent campaign this time around, if they make it MP only again it should be $40 at launch IMO.
