Forums - Sony Discussion - Without Uncharted 4, what to expect now?

Since Uncharted 4 isn't coming out I wouldn't expect anything major unless they have a surprise announcement at E3. Gran Turismo 7 isn't coming until early 2016 at the earliest.

it will be a "small" game, nothing mayor.

it cant be anything mayor, big games (like GOW or GT) need big advertisment campaings that go through an entire year with a lot of trailers and info, there is no way these will get their first trailer at E3 and then be released in less than 6 months, that is not how marketing for this big games works.

you could argue that those games would sell well withouth marketing and yeah you could be somewhat right, but they would sell far better with the proper marketing campaing and a year worth of hype, so no, we wont get GOW or GT7 this holiday, sony will announce something for the holidays but it will be considerably small.

and yes i know that LBP3 did exactly that but that was a cross gen game, so it had a bigger audience to make up for the short time it got for marketing, i mean just look at all the big games and they all get announced at least a year before release MGSV, Zelda, Halo, MK, SFV, Battlefield, Tekken etc...

Regardless of what games are coming for the holiday season, I expect the PS4 to sell excellently.

The PS5 Exists.

Uncharted remastered collection for holiday 2015 + one third party (timed) exclusive for holiday 2015, in addition to Ratchet and smaller games like No mans Sky, The tomorrow children, tearaway and obviously a pricecut.

Personally, I dont think sony would delay uncharted unless they had something that could combat Halo+Tomb Raider. So I think there will be a TP exclusive somewhere.

Sony doesn't do timed AAA titles.

"There is only one race, the pathetic begging race"

What are the chances of Persona 5 coming on 2015?

I think is going to be a 2015 release only for Japan and an early-mid release for us/eu on 2016.

Am I wrong? I´m just guessing

I consider myself to be a huge PS fanboy, but not even I can be as "optimistic" as some of you, about the rest of 2015. PS4 don't have anything to offer me for the rest of the year except some smaller exclusive indie titles & multiplats.

Xbox has SO MANY big AAA titles coming out. Same goes for Wii U.

I share your feelings. I will buy MLB The Show, and after that I see nothing that interests me enough to excite me and to make me anxious to wait.

Uncharted 4 is still my next day one game, all the rest can wait for sales.

If the entire Croatia were not a PS4 country, making it easy for me to trade and share games, I would be strongly considering selling my PS4 and buying an XOne, but here once you buy an XBox game you're stuck with it forever, I believe there are less than 100 people who own that console. But that Tomb Raider for the holidays seems mighty tempting...

This is the X1's chance to close the gap. Forza 6, Halo 5, and RotTR have no competition from Sony at this point. I have a feeling Until Dawn will fly under the radar, and while the PS4 still has Bloodborne, things look slow after that.

Meanwhile Quantum Break, Crackdown 3, Scalebound, and Gears are likely to hit in 2016 as well. MS hit a rut this year, but 2015 into 2016 has a stellar line up. X1 can gain and keep a lot of momentum from this news. Will pull ahead globally? Not a chance...globally in the US and UK however...very possible unless Sony announces something huge. But then Im sure MS has some big guns tucked away too.

Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-5643-2927-1984

order 1886 dlc and bloodbourne + dlc. i'm pretty sure they'll support both games for quite some time. at least til uncharted 4 arrives.
