Forums - Sony - Uncharted 4 to be 60fps?

I don't think that's the reason. Delaying a game by a couple of months is usually to have extra time for polishing. Does the frames counts as polishing???

Highly unlikely, but this was already certain from the beginning that it was going to be 30fps. Anybody with a little bit of sense would have guessed that teaser couldn't possible run 60fps on a console. The lastest gameplay is also 30fps, with a lot of framedrops and heavily downgraded graphics. Changing an entire game from 30fps to 60fps is basically making a new game, you have to change a LOT. 60fps is never going to happen with those graphics.

First of all any semi-functional human brain can instantly see the difference between the two images light color; the first images light cast by the moon and the second cast by the sun... Hmm the sun is yellow yellow is warmer and the moon is white which is cooler. The game itself is stylized so color changes occur often. Also Naughty Dog (you know those people making the game and trailers) confirmed this comparison was bull****!

If you're going to compare at least use the proper quality images for the experience demo.  I have it in high quality on my laptop and the screens above look more like a ps3 game than the actual demo.

Who cares about the image quality of a clearly bogus comparison?

Bottom face picture is a horrible representation, massively compressed, RBG settings all messed up, scaled down ect ect. Heres a image from uncompressed high bitrate video. Whom ever made this picture obviously had an agenda.

Nice picture but naysayers will continue to think it isn't represenative of the first trailer because Nate ain't glossy... They simply take the image wholesale and claim "He isn't shiny? DOWNGRADE CONFIRMED!!!Whether or not these people realize the images were taken from two totally different places under extremely different lighting conditions and light directions while also taking notice that the character is wet in one while being dry in the other is very important because, it tells you exactly who the fanboys are.

Compressed video much?

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

Lmao,  I said your preferred console for a reason.  I clearly don't know which one you game on but whichever one you do there are plenty of games miles inferior to the likes of the order from a technical and graphical point of view.

I never said there weren't. I don't give a shit about "preferred consoles." If a game runs like shit for a reason that doesn't contribute directly to better gameplay, and I consider 30fps shit, I call it out. I called out the remake of my favorite game of all time for not running at 60fps. I couldn't give a flying rat's ass if it's on my "preferred console" or not.

Short of a game having a massively ambitious open world, there's no reason any 8th gen game should be running at sub-par framerates.

I have no doubt that the order wouldn't be the most beautiful game of this gen so far if it was 60fps.  The game also doesn't need it.  It's absolutely perfect with a rock solid 30fps.

Naughty Dog said this is their last Uncharted game, so I don't expect a cliffhanger.

would rather they kill Elena than Sully but would prefer if they kill Charlie or Chloe

I am Iron Man

When many games on PC, PS4 and other platforms run at 1080p 60fps (beyond on PC especially) I would expect ND to achieve the same goal for their game, especially since this gen is being heavily marketed to being able to throw out 1080p 60fps, not 900-1080p 30fps.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
