Who knows, MGSV PP is 1080p and 60fps and its open world so this is definitely possible.  Game developers should be begging Kojima to use the Fox Engine, that game being 60fps/1080p, being open world, being one of the best looking next gen games puts it way ahead of what other devs are able to accomplish on the PS4.

MGSV still looks like a last gen game visually. The PS4 and PS3 versions look the same. I don't think Uncharted 4 could run on a PS3.

MGSV's visually are as good if not better than other open world current gen games.

If these visuals are not good enough for you then you have ridiculously high expectations.

If Uncharted 4 runs at 60fps with the graphics we've seen in the footage I will burn my PC because obviously my PS4 is a lot more powerful than it.

Not really. If you look at the geometry and textures it really does look like an upscaled PS3 game. Not that it looks bad but it has none of the sophisticated visuals we've seen in other games this gen. It looks like DAI when I turned down a lot of stuff to make it run smoothly on my PC.

What do you mean by sophisticated visuals?  It has more detail in its textures, increased resolution/framerate, better lighting and shadows, hell if you look at this footage every leaf in a tree has a shadow.

The level of detail expected for a current gen game is there, when you consider its open world and its 60fps/1080p it blows away the competition.

Never said it was a bad looking game.  But I highly doubt Uncharted could run at 60 even it was using the Fox engine. If they toned the graphics down and other things that affect fps, then they could reach it.

When you consider ones open world and ones a linear shooter I'd say its a safe bet.  Ofc its hard to say for sure since I'm not a developer, just speculation.

It should give you a hint that InfamousSS, which looks a lot better than this is only able to run at 30fps locked and not able to hold 60 with an unlocked framerate. That's not because Suckerpunch are idiot monkeys who don't know how to code or that kojima is a coding god. It's just that MGSV does not employ high level visuals which are particularly taxing for the underlying hardware.
The two videos you showed me are not even close to what Infamous or The Order looks like. The textures and vegetation are an absolute joke. Please have a look at recent PC games to see what is nowadays actually possible.

MGSV is not really a crown jewel among current gen games. Uncharted on the other side looks actually pretty great, which is a good indicator that it will not reach the performance of a MGSV.

They should do something like TLoU where they give you a choice.

If you think those are a joke in comparison you need to get your eyes checked.  Ofc The Order looks better its not open world game.

I sure hope they're using the extra time for something more meaningful than getting the game to run at 60fps.
