Alone in the Dark is looking pretty good. Naz posted some impressive videos about the special things they are doing with the game engine. It is a multiplatform title, spanning many consoles (PC/PS3/360, Wii/PS2).

I'm posting screenshots so you can see the differences between the platforms.

The ps2 screens look suprisingly good, the wii one looks just as good in my opinion.

Also the nex gen pics looks quite good as well.

Am I the only guy who looks at these screens and doesn't see what all the fuss is about over "next gen" graphics.

I enjoy my PS3's graphics, I guess, but they just don't do it for me, lol. I'm more a fan of functional graphics. I'll get this game none-the-less, after I see some reviews. For which console? Dunno. If its no difference between the Wii and Ps3 version but the graphics, I'll save 10 bucks, honestly.

The PS2/Wii game is being made by a different company.

The game will be released on PC, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable on June 2, 2008 in North America. All projects are being developed by Eden Games, but the PS2 and Wii versions are being created alongside Hydravision Entertainment.

Seems there is even a PSP version. My guess is ... they will be reusing a lot of the same assets between PS2/Wii/PSP ... as well as same assets between PS3/360/PC.

the ps2 screens look good but not as good as pc/360/ps3/

ah i remeber those days of the ps2 graphics.

its games like these that make me think twice of purchasing the big hitters.
