Except you're not willing to give Metroid a fair chance, so your opinion means nothing. That's a very narrow minded view you got there. Jeez. You're missing out on a lot of good games. This is one of the best looking games on the GBA, so yes, it is technically advanced. It has aged better than the first Resistance in terms of graphics lol. |
I am flabbergasted! You think a gba game looks better than a ps3 game! Come on man! I dont care how good a game was for its time I don't like any of the old retro games. I've seen what sort of games they are and I'm telling you they are not for me. If they make a modern aaa sequel I might like it but not all the old ones. That's my opinion and you can't deny it. Resistance for me

The first Resistance looks awful. Metroid: Zero Mission is art. Besides, Metroid: Zero Mission is only 2 years older than the first Resistance.
I can deny your opinion as you haven't played any Metroid game.

I know the feeling. But if I made this thread, I would get banned for flamebait.

So the Metroid series only has 1 modern looking game? The more I hear about it the more I'm turned off it. Again I'm baffled as to why I need to defend my opinion so much. You should accept my gaming tastes and move on.

I agree with this, Resistance was a good series but not great, coming from a fan of it. It never seem to reach its true potiential.

Your ignorance on this subject is amusing.
Metroid: 1986 (NES)
Metroid II: 1991 (GB)
Super Metroid: 1994 (SNES)
Metroid Prime: 2002 (GC)
Metroid Fusion: 2002 (GBA)
Metroid Prime 2: 2004 (GC)
Metroid: Zero Mission: 2004 (GBA)
Metroid Prime Hunters: 2006 (DS)
Metroid Prime 3: 2007 (Wii)
Metroid: Other M: 2010 (Wii)
Like I said, you haven't played a Metroid game, so this thread obviously is not meant for you. Just because I showed you a 2D game as an example doesn't mean that was the latest game in the franchise. There are five 3D Metroid games.

You base this off seeing one game? And he didn't say it looked better, he said it aged better.
All three metroid prime games look better than the first resistance game. And all three of them are "modern"

So the best the series has to offer is a wii version in terms of graphics and one of them has a 6.6 user score. Honestly the more I learn the more I know I prefer resistance. If you put both series in front of me and I'd to pick one I'd choose resistance. It's that simple. You really can't argue with my gaming tastes and opinions.

It's obvious what he's trying to do in this thread. See the post above... Not worth responding to anymore.
