lol God of War vs. the entire Metroid series is still not a thing.

But Resistance? I'm sorry, they're ok. But no.

Super Metroid and Metroid Prime are considered to be some of the greatest games of all time.

I... I don't think this is a necessary comparison, let alone a fair one. @_@

An interesting debate....but I'm sure the question that's really on everyone's minds is Halo vs. Pokemon.

Not sure why these two series are being compared, but Metroid destroys Resistance in every possible way. Resistance is great and I especially like some of the weapons in the game, but no. Resistance vs Killzone or Halo would make more sense to me.

Yes all those are much more complex than Metroid.  If I was into rpgs and it was comparing final fantasy to Metroid I'd probably choose that.  I don't know why some of you guys take issue with my personal preference.  It's like metro redux is arguably better than Resistance but at the at the time id choose resistance because it's a better package for me.  It's a decent single player series with great online in 2 of the 3 games.

Watch this, you might get a better understanding about Metroid. This game still has quite an active speedrunner community. And sequence breaking is more complex than anything you do in Resistance.

So you think everyone who's saying Metroid has played all 3 resistances if any of them? 

Probably not. But even if they played only one it is a better position than yours, and we can't speculate on who has and hasn't played them.
