Hearts R is better? You're the first person who said this. I have to play it to judge.

I can't speak on Tales of Hearts because I haven't played it but I own Graces. Graces is a good RPG, but I prefer both Xillia games over it. Graces came of as bit generic. While I like the game, I didn't enjoy it as much as Versperia or the Xillia games. Asbel was a forgettable protagonist. I liked the duality to Xillia 1. The antagonist wasn't really evil. He was trying to save Rieze Maxia as well. It was nice change the usual situation in RPGs. Xillia 2 fleshes him out even more.

I feared Xillia 2 would turn out like Symphonia 2. Thankfullly it didn't. The returning cast was handled well and Ludger was a FAR better lead than Emile Castagnier.  His relationship with his brother, the three different endings....I really like ToX2. I prefer it to the original.

Haven't played Xillia 2 but after what happened with Symphonia 2, I was a bit scared about that game and never picked it up....

Symphonia is amazing --> Symphonia 2 is terrible

Xillia is awesome ---> Xillia 2 is ???

Guess I will have to try out Xillia 2 now.. :P

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]

Released late in the life of a platform that has dozens of great JRPGs. Isn't able to stand out like early JRPG releases or a JRPG release on a console that doesn't have any.

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."
