Sure, Sony is known for platformers and Nintendo isn't. /s

Never said they weren't known for it, I just think Sony does it better. The only platforming series Nintendo has is Mario and donkey Kong. Only liked one Mario game and DK64.

I grew up on Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, Sly Cooper and their ps1 predecessors (crash and spyro will forever be Sony games to me, nothing will change that). LittleBig planet is as hardcore as a platformer can get lol.

Careful, you're not allowed to express your opinion loll jk.  Some fans are just so uptight these days eh.

I like how you put for MS just Halo and Gears, you don't put 'FPS' or 'TPS' genre, just put those two games.  I see MS like that too xD

Yoshi, Kirby, Splatoon (Nintendo confirmed it will be a platformer in the singleplayer campaign)

R & C isn't even a platformer. Insomniac Games also makes games for other platforms anyway, so they aren't part of Sony.

DK64 is the worst 3D platformer "Nintendo" ever made. And if you're counting Crash and Spyro you should also count Banjo-Kazooie and Conker.

one question, is this about which genres do we think the big three's games are the best in the industry, or best of the big three?

What...?Are you sure...?

I have a Wii U and 3D World but I would take LBP over it. 2D Platformers Nintendo is the master though.

Not to mention Jak and Daxter

Except that Ratchet & Clank actually is a platformer. Though it does have some other elements integrated into it.

Current gaming platforms - Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, New 3DS, PC

R&C has never been on any other platform so it is Sony

R&C is a platformer and the guy has his opinions which is just as valid as yours

It's a comic third person shooter/beat 'em up with some minor platforming elements. I played the very first R & C last month, I barely did any platforming. You're in for a rude awakening if you play some real platformers like DKC: TF.

Microsoft - Shooters, Action, Racing
Sony - Adventure
Nintendo - No idea.

Gears is not made by MS (except the one they are making now) but it is an MS game. If you can not accept that then I do not know what to tell you
