Still, Nintendo is more diverse than I thought it was... I added to the bottom of the list as well. Not entirely sure Fatal Frame counts as they are second party, but eh, I added it.

I tried to ignore standalone games though. It needs to be at least a somewhat moderate franchise. You're right about Fable. And Age of Empires isn't exactly an xbox game. Is this franchise still alive even?

There's also Minecraft, but that isn't even exclusive.

Sure, Sony is known for platformers and Nintendo isn't. /s

Never said they weren't known for it, I just think Sony does it better. The only platforming series Nintendo has is Mario and donkey Kong. Only liked one Mario game and DK64.

I grew up on Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, Sly Cooper and their ps1 predecessors (crash and spyro will forever be Sony games to me, nothing will change that). LittleBig planet is as hardcore as a platformer can get lol.

The qestion is simple, among the first-party published game, which ones do you think each of them is best and worst at? I think Sony is best at hack n slash, simulation racing and TPS games. MS is best at FPS games. Nintendo is best at platformers.

Sony is good with Sim Racing and seem fairly good with 'cinematic experiences' lol.

MS seems pretty equal to Sony with Sim racing and certainly FPS. Oh and RTS with Age games but they aren't console exclusive.

Nintendo is good with Arcade Racing (MK series), platforming and party games.

This doesn't seem like a fare comparison though. Nintendo tends to excell at most of the games they do and they have done almost every genre, even recently. Although, I haven't seen a Sim Racer from them, or FPS recently at all. Or horror actually.

Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.

Yup. Age is still alive but it has always mainly been PC and it now also windows phone ect. One was released in 2014.
