Sony: Platformers, Action Adventure, Racing, Hack & Slash
MS: Gears, Halo
Nintendo: RPG, Party, RTS (Advanced Wars)

This list only includes console manufacturers. Independent publishers are excluded.

Sure, Sony is known for platformers and Nintendo isn't. /s

Never said they weren't known for it, I just think Sony does it better. The only platforming series Nintendo has is Mario and donkey Kong. Only liked one Mario game and DK64.

I grew up on Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, Sly Cooper and their ps1 predecessors (crash and spyro will forever be Sony games to me, nothing will change that). LittleBig planet is as hardcore as a platformer can get lol.
