I actually like Mystic Quest.  If this game is better than the original, I wouldn't mind it getting a release.  It's a mobile phone game though which is really disappointing.  Maybe we'll get a Final Fantasy:  No Longer Dirty Mobile Phone Games HD Collection release on Vita or 3DS.

I haven't played it in ages, but I have fond memories of it and I find it INCREDIBLY OFFENSIVE that they expanded the party to four characters! That ain't how it was!

I actually wouldn't mind taking a crack at Final Fantasy Dimensions if it ever came to Vita, but the remakes are depressing to even look at. But as the link in the OP says, Mystic Quest HD doesn't actually appear to be the work of Square-Enix but rather some scam artists called Dark Design Games.

Doesn't seem like an official product thankfully. Apparently this remake has already been out for a while for free, checking his twitter account it looks like it was released on December 1st/2nd. And now he's back with a "HD remake" charging money for it. https://twitter.com/darkdesigngames

Although to access the original remaster you had to buy a game off of Sqaure's store. Overall this whole situation is beyond wacky.
