honestly I would do this game 1st. Its does not take long to complete the Order so it will not wipe out weeks of gaming time. I have no idea how much playtime Kirby offers though, they could be similiar in that regard.

Btw- is that you in your profile pic? I noticed you update it somewhat frequently and it is the same person (so basically either its you or that person would be creeped out if they knew someone had a collection of pictures of them and was using them as their profile picture)

add me, the more the merrier.

It's game's like these that make me wish game rentals were still a thing in this country. I used to rent my SNES, Mega Drive, GBC and PS1 games all the time.

For the ones interested, a review from a friend of mine from e-mpire, who finished the game yesterday :
(I didn't finish the Game yet)

''Alrighty finished it this afternoon, awesome game IMO. I'd stick it with that 8/10 score if I had to use that scale.

TLDR version.... things I really liked were graphics (obviously, they are genuinely jaw-dropping IMO, love the explosion effects in particular), the gameplay and shooting is very fun and feels great, the cinematic feeling is excellent and consistent in presentation, audio is really great, and the story is surprisingly engaging, extremely well done. You really get what is advertised here IMO.

Things I was not as high on were sometimes it feels a little too claustrophobic in traveling between areas sometimes, and most areas there is limited area to explore, might swerve into brief cutscene mode a little too often and take away control from the player, and sometimes in shooting parts it's hard to see where enemies are from cover and occasionally not that much space to really test out the run-n-gun versus pop-n-shoot gameplay, and when it makes you walk and you don't feel like walking lol.

I'm mixed on the QTEs, because in some parts I am OK with them (lockpicking, context-dodging, and I actually liked the way the special Lycan fights were done). There's quite a few of QTE events, but not as many as I was expecting given the grief the game was getting for it. Occasionally it feels like there are a few too many, but I didn't feel like it really took anything away from the experience (I don't consider context-sensitive opening doors or simple commands as QTEs also).

But for me most of those are just "I could've done more with this, or less with this." The only thing I was mostly unhappy about is that I did feel it was just a touch too short, I was hoping for a little bit of epilogue gameplay at the end or something. I just wanted to play more because I wanted to shoot more stuff and I wanted to continue the story just a bit more lol.

All things considered I think it's a great game, and a much more impressive outing considering this is Ready At Dawn's first console title, and in that context it's amazing IMO.

The only reason I would say not to buy for full price is if you want a longer game or one to play MP. But if you're OK with the whole thing being maybe 8 hours then I'd say it's worth a buy. I'd recommend it to anyone who isn't a sheep to reviews or doesn't mind having different flavours in their games, and just wants to shoot a ton of stuff up.

It's kind of like a Killzone 2 TPS without the MP in a lot of ways actually, only a little more limited in the levels scope, but with a much more engaging narrative. I think that is the best SCEWWS game comparison. Also it sets itself up nicely for a sequel and I'd absolutely go for one, especially if they open up the fighting areas more.''

You are attactive then. I mean that as a complement. My wife is hotter though : ).

That said, I am looking for 3DS game to pick up (going a business trip that includes a 13 hour flight.......) and I cant decide what to get. If Xenogears was out it would be a no brainer, but it is not. Is Monster Hunter 4 good? And is it good for single player? I loved MH3 on the Wii but I want to play on a plane (No online) so I am not sure it is a good game for my situation.

The Order: 1886 is by far my favourite console game of the generation so far. I cannot wait for a sequel!

Im glad i will be able to play this game only for 20€ :)

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

This would have been so much funnier if it wasn't her and those were a series of pictures of your wife...

...I have an idea...
