was the game really hyped? I mean it definitly had massive interest, but to me hype is well, like Destiny. No one was expecting this game to an instant classic, even most Sony fans were saying high 70s low 80s would be great. I did not see any "How many GOTY awards will The Order win" type threads, and if there were it would have turned into a flame war.

Hype implies expectations of greatness, I never saw this most were just hoping it to be good while the other side was hoping it to be bad. Thus the insane amount of interest.

This game was just a lighting rod. And it still does not make logical sense why it happened.

I would say so.

Sony pushing it hard and members of various forums including this one actively promoting it in a major way for the better part of a year makes it hyped.

I would agree that it wasn't hyped like Destiny. But then, nothing has really been hyped like Destiny.

Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Being this is a joke thread though I completely agree The Order is more next gen than anything it does EVERYTHING at once!

How could you watch something while playing something? That would be extremly hard and take tons of skill

You can listen. I usually do it while im playing a football or basketball game. I snap Netflix TV(sporting event) or YouTube. Skill? Man come on lol. You can always pause if you feel or see something important coming up also.

Ryse isnt anything like God of War. Its more like Assassins Creed and Batman Arkham and as bad as it is its probably the best Action Adventure game Microsoft will have until Platinum gets done making a real hack n slash on their platform. Platinum Games makes titles which are more akin to God of War.

so you'd rather take up part of your screen doing that than listen to it on another device?  I'd rather use my 50" for gaming and keep the same aspect ratio
