For games that you buy, how long should that game's duration be? Depends on genre of course. | |||
| Minimum 8hrs+ | 198 | 83.19% | |
| Minimum 8hrs- | 39 | 16.39% | |
| Total: | 237 | ||

Maybe something like 'youtube gamer completes The Order quickly, whilst playing on easy.' But honestly don't stress, we don't think you were baiting, so you're not responsible for other poster's bad behaviour. |
Well I am just sharing what I found on the internet, and I'm not stressed just yet, I just wana avoid conflict amongst other users here that's all :D, and thanks for the suggestion.

Uh yeah I know that, just asking for suggestions from a mod, and thanks :D.
The signs have been there from the beginning. Also if the final boss is really a qte, that just validates all their talk about how gameplay was the 3rd most important aspect of the order behind graphics and story.

As someone who has seen the entire walkthrough, I will clear up some misconceptions about what people think of the ''playthrough''.
Firstly, the playthrough really is sub 5 hours. The guy has put two videos up showing the ''ending'' twice. Both are around 10 minutes, but they show the exact same content, the just just labels it differently.
- There are no ''skippable'' scenes. The guy didn't pick up or explore everything, but he does clearly look around for things to pick up, but he doesn't press triangle. Kinda like showing you where things are if you want to pick them up. CH3 is a good example of this, he spends plenty of time looking around in the weapon room.
- Flanking ≠ Rushing / Speedrun. It may look like the guy is trying to outrun AI spawns, but no, the guy is just out flanking the enemy.
- The guy is playing on easy/normal. It quite simply looks dire. Do yourself a favor and play it on anything above normal. The guy got knocked down by a lycan 5 times and didn't die or need to re-heal. The lycan went down in around half a clip.
- The guy playing hardly ever died, even when facing 5+ lycans. Again, casually playing on anything above normal will probably result in a 6+ hour playthrough. More than 8 hours would be really stretching it. I'd like to see a walkthrough of the guys claiming to have taken 12 or so hours.

I will of course not watch the videos because I'll play the game soon, but I don't understand the complaints of a QTE boss fight.
I just finished Dying Light, loved the game, it ends with a QTE boss fight, I don't feel cheated or think less of it.
Loved Far Cry 4, its end is not even a QTE boss fight, it's just press a button or not... Still a great game.
Uncharted had a QTE ending, excellent game.
Just my opinion based on comments here, will be able to judge it better in about 10 days.

Its not neccessarily the QTE's, its the dialogue and story in general. Very cliche. Your've seen it all before.

I'm through, it took me between 8 and 9 hours. I'm no fast player but I'm also not a slow one.
Some things: there's barely QTE in the game and just because of the boss being one of those moments, the game isn't bad. And everyone here claiming that the game is full of QTEs is just trolling, I guess.
Same goes for that 'cinematic' claim: sometimes you don't even notice when you are in a "cutscene" or when you leave one, the whole game flow is pretty amazing and it feels good that the actualy gameplay and the actual parts where the game tries to tell it's story are that close together.
To the generic gameplay mechanics: yeah well...it is a 3rd Person Shooter and it is pretty hard to reinvent the genre. But the weapons and the really nice controls (best controls I've had in a while) are something noticable.
I would recommend to wait until it's a bit cheaper, the playtime really is one of the few let downs this game has. But besides that it's one of the better games I've seen the last year.
