Got up to 2* online. I've reached the point where just about all my weapons require high rank materials to progress, and there's no way in hell I'm doing Rathalos + Zinogre until I get some better kit.

Also, H.Mount is an awesome map; the other areas fell short of Tri's, but this one is a ripper.

Just beat the Seltas Queen actually, and wow, such an awesome monster, definitely one of the best so far.

I've been busy with my project and also with reviewing Majoras Mask. Which sorta ate into my free time quite a bit! 

Goddamn you lot are moving fast. I only just beat Wypceros (sp?) yesterday. Wasn't hard aside from my refusal to make more antidotes than what they gave me, meaning i had to ditch once because he just becomes a poisoning machine while Enraged.

Am I really supposed to kill Basario? How do I even do it?

I don't know the best method but I just went to hammer since my charge blade always bounced off.  Try using a weapon that deals impact damage or just keep mounting it.

I've actually spent probably my last two hours playing just trying to get Gore Magala armor.  I never end up getting the feelers though.

Like pixelperfect said; hammer. You won't bounce on his legs or belly. Get under him and swing away, but hang towards the back of him to avoid being caught up in his forward charges.

I think I have a new love for the Insect Glaive. Helped me beat the Gore Magala without getting decimated for once.
