and you can forgive flaws much easyer in sp games.  i mean look at last gen, tlou has so many problems, but most flaws(like a unispired story and meh storytelling) arnt relevant for the ratings or sales.  why? because most people dont realy care for a great story and good storytelling, they are fine as long as it doesnt get boring.

can't help people with low standards.  Just like there are some people who will forgive SP games for bland stories there are people who will forgive MP games for horrible balancing and samey maps.

a mp game need costum maps, or a realy good developer like riot games( they made a new game mode and map because people were playing with houserules.)

Both SP and MP games need good developers.
