Other M never existed.............................

(It actually wasnt that bad, just not metroid "Prime" good :0)

Yeah, that seems to be the general consensus. I can't say myself, I haven't played a metroid game since the SNES ones...on emulators.

Not playing Metroid Prime (any of them) is a crime, go buy the Trilogy for $20 now >_<

I wasn't questioning overall quality at all, just my general dislike of silent protagonist. Metroid is a poor example with the last game, the other M, scoring 79 on metacritic...but that's none of my business.

My post was only 3 sentences long and you still didn't read it all?

Do you know what the most common complaint of Metroid: Other M is?

Metroid is the best example to counter your argument actually. People love silent protagonists.

Not even gonna lie, i read it but didn't really catch it. That one is on me, my bad. Although, I'm not sure if that is a fair assesment though. I assume it has more to do with the writing of the story/dialogue than Samus actually having a voice (unless they got a really bad voice actress or something.

They did both. But Metroid games are about isolation, voice acting has no place in that.

Ironically they got one of the best female voice actors for the Metroid Prime Trilogy, but used a nobody for Metroid: Other M.

To be fair Metroid Fusion also gave Samus a voice, but much more limited and better (inner monologues during elevator rides). I'd be ok with future Metroid games having such voice acting.

It's really good to see so many customization options for the characters! There are some really good presets here. The world is just amazing as aways.

They also posted a new piece of soundtrack on the official site by the way: http://xenobladex.jp/media/xeno_sound3.mp3

Do you mean this in a good or bad way? :p It's not going to be trading blows with TW3 any time soon, but for a WiiU game it look incredibly impressive. Best non-performance related use of the WiiU's hardware we've seen.

OT: The face on that last character pic is terrifying, but the over world looks glorious. Especially this one:

for comparison.. Skyrim world is 16 square miles size, The withcher 3 is 20% bigger than skyrim so it is 20.9 square miles... and Xenoblade Chronicles X with all the mechs, art, and graphics and it look  awesome whatever you say... is 400 Square kilometers convert that to square miles and this is the actual size of the world of xenoblade X... 154.44 square miles, did you see in art direction and world size TW3 and Xenoblade are not on the same league, and that is just the first point that came to my mind when i read the part i bold from your post ;)

What does world size have to do with what i said? ^^

I didn't say it was to the same degree.  I'm just saying that it has one, and I would know because I saw it myself.

I just take the term boob slider a bit more literally. The character customization options are more about overall size of body and mass than adjusting things like that. I haven't created a character in a while, so maybe I missed it.

I tried out the free trial recently, made a female character.  There was a slider specifically for the breast size, though it's not as big of a difference between the minimum and maximum size as it is in the XCX video.

At the reveal I thought this game looked pretty, now it's ugly as hell in my eyes. That's probably due to my time with DAI. I can't see this game with the same eyes anymore. D=

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

I think Fusion got the timing and amount of dialogue perfect. Very focused on key scenes outside of gameplay and internal monologues.  I think Prime 3 could have used that same formula; it had the action to scene ratio right and so on.  I think people react to harshly to the voice acting proposition.  At least in my case I don't want her blabbing constantly, only at those key moments outside the isolation focused gameplay where it makes sense

The one time Samus talks is the one time it fails to hit 90%.

Not that I disagree with your point, but Samus "talks" in Metroid Fusion as well.
