Forums - Gaming - Evolve Launches With $136+ Worth of DLC

I think that is all lot of money to pay for DLC, but this can also show DLC probably won't be gone anytime soon.

Around the Network

any content that is present at launch should be a part of the game

"dlc" should be used to denote any content that is produced and released after the game's launch

LOLmao with that money i can buy 2 new games

They value the DLC at more than twice the cost of the actual game from day 1, that is just crazy.

true, but the last of us has actually a single player mode and an actually good single player mode with a touching story, thats the difference between evolve.

I didn't know about...weapons behind a paywall? Hmm...

OT: thankfully I never plan on getting this game in the first place, bet reviewers now regret giving it E3 awards after this.

Disgusting.

Every year the video game industry sinks lower and lower. Microtransactions, day 1 DLC, games releasing borderline unplayable and needing extensive patching just to work properly...

Back in 2013, gamers gave me hope when they rose against the Xbox One's DRM policies, but nowadays it seems we're fine with being bled dry.

Not everything is bad now, look at games like bloodborne it wont have any of this stuff and thats one of the best looking AAA titles coming up

well i personally think that tlou multiplayer is garbage regardless

its pretty much the most unbalanced multiplayer i've ever played

from launch you could literally kill 2 people and then unlock armour which gives you significantly more health than your opponents

or unlock "power weapons" that give you a significant offensive advantage

either way my point is that it was like that from the start it wasn't dlc that brought on this imbalance

the mystery to me is why people like it so much

the paid weapons are multiplayer only btw

And yet they still gave it a good review.

I'm done.
So done.
