So consoles are DRM now all of the sudden? that makes the NES drm? you know the console or on any other console majority of players started to game on? Consoles were always owned by a company thats how it started, so whats your problem with that? The 3DO tried to be different and it failed miserably.

also you have to buy a new windows every 3 to 5 years because DX is owned by MS and they enforce their newest version into their latest OS which costs money too.

I honestly don't get what your problem is accepting the facts, PC's make console games, we didn't design consoles to design games for them, what's the
inclusion of the 3DO got to do with the fact consoles are their own form of DRM, they are closed off hardware.

Not really, I've had XP for years and years, they then dropped their support not too long ago and before that I decided to move to 7 and I've had that for years myself, I don't have to buy windows every 3-5 years, what you're throwing out though is yet another myth, when did DX cost you money when it;s the OS in general, even then you can get it for free in various ways, W10 for example getting a free upgrade for a year offer.

Like Yuri said in the other thread you haven't really spent all that long with PC gaming, like you've only been with it a short while and couldn't go with it and thus have to make it look bad because it wasn't for you, I mentioned Witcher 3 since it was once exclusive to PC and is now multiplat but you somehow took difference to that and downplayed it over a console only exclusive bloodborne, because let's face it you're never for all the other platofmrs besides the one with Bloodborne, at least admit you hate the rest and be done with it.

Also no need to pull the old "well you hate X!", no that doesn't work for someone like me who's already a multiplat player, you were slightly once one but decided to leave one side.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

I get more annoyed with some of the DLC I see for games like Battlefield. The shortcut or unlocks everything packs.

I'd say those are fine. They aren't you missing out on content, just paying to progress quicker. You can still get all the content by playing the game, no?

Of course this is in the knowledge that they are essentially what used to be cheats back in the day. Skins are what use to be unlockables. :P

DLC sucks, might be a reason why I never buy any.

Essentially cheats or passwords back in the day.  I remember when you could just put in a code and unlock everything or become invincible if you wanted.  I hardly used them because it wasn't challenging.  Heck the only code that I used that I didn't feel bad about was the Contra extra lives code considering the game is almost impossible to beat without that code (or least for me back in the day).

Cheat codes/passwords evolved into paid DLC.

can that content be unlocked in the game without money?

AHAHAHAHAH.

If the game was out 10 years ago, yeah probably.

I wonder how many this is going to sell on XB1 and PS4, since we can't get Steam sales data (not made public) I wonder out of the other two who supports the practice more?.

We could look at sales of games like Call of Duty AW/Ghosts or Battlefield 4 and see which of the other two have already been "supporting it more".

The only bad part about this skin DLC is none of it even looks good so I haven't bought a single one. If they ever make some that look good them I am all in.
