I'd say those are fine. They aren't you missing out on content, just paying to progress quicker. You can still get all the content by playing the game, no? Of course this is in the knowledge that they are essentially what used to be cheats back in the day. Skins are what use to be unlockables. :P DLC sucks, might be a reason why I never buy any. |
Essentially cheats or passwords back in the day. I remember when you could just put in a code and unlock everything or become invincible if you wanted. I hardly used them because it wasn't challenging. Heck the only code that I used that I didn't feel bad about was the Contra extra lives code considering the game is almost impossible to beat without that code (or least for me back in the day).
Cheat codes/passwords evolved into paid DLC.
