Forums - Microsoft - whatever happened to xb1's "too many games"

Not trolling, this is a genuine question. Has this ben addressed or answered in part?

Last year before e3, phil spencer said they had so much to announce that they had to cut out a lot of things. There might have even been another comment that there were too many games coming out in the late year and were getting pushed back.

What happened to these games/announcements?

I remember Phil Spencer commenting that there were a lot of games coming out for Holiday 2015 and he was looking to spread them throughout the year. My guess is that he included all of the multiplatform games when he made that comment.

I don't see them announcing too many more games for this year, as there will only be so many exclusives they will want to release in the last third of the year. They already have Halo 5, Quantum Break and Forza 6. So they will probably have one more. So I don't know where this 'crazy' amount of games is going to come from, unless they are planning a very strong start to 2016. Which is possible, if they perhaps had Crackdown 3 and Scalebound.

Most disappointing is that all their new studios are working on HoloLens games.

Are they really???

Also, I heard possibly banjo and kazooie or battletoads. But there's almost nothing until september. I'm just curious where this "spreading out" occurred.

Well if the game was supposed to be finished and released this holiday you can't just spread it out and rush it to March xD So using simple logic they're either getting delayed to early 2016 or releasing a bit earlier and the release dates will be after e3. And based on your track record I just can't see this as anything besides trolling. But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. And in reply to the other person. So what? Hololens has amazing potential and is coming to Xbox one

Ltd predictions by the time 9th Gen comes out

Ps4:110million

Xbox one :75 million( was 65)

Wii u: 20 milliion

I don't see how anyone couldn't. They even went ahead and purchased an exclusive for the 2015 holiday season (Tomb Raider), all while trying to tell us they had "too many games" during that same period and had to push some back.

You wouldn't have to buy titles to fill the gaps if you supposedly already had plenty.

Not like anything is surprising about it though, all companies make a habit of telling their consumer base exactly what they want to hear.
