I think that Microsoft smelled a failure way too late. After they signed a deal and all the DLC ripped out of the main game started surfacing, they knew that the game will fail, so they decided not to support it with bundles. 

I thought MS lived for ways to charge extra, since they startted dlc on consoles and payed online and almost whent through no used games and drm. They knew what they where getting into and they probably had a bundle planned but they did another 180 as they are famous for them now.

Thank god we nintendo fans dont do that :p

User scores are garbage, though.  One look at them and I could see that most of the '0' scores were by people who hadn't even played the game and just wanted to push their agenda.  

I've said it before, but look at today's update on US preorders for Evolve. This game is DOA. For both PS4 and Xbox One.

We can beat around the bush all you want. Pretending like you're just so interested in this game because maybe it's innovative, maybe it's got a lot of content, whatever. But don't act like if this was just another multiplatform game with no Microsoft backing, you'd be trying so hard to get people to like it. You say you made a review thread and there's nothing beyond that. But in this whole thread you're rationalizing away everything this game started getting criticized for. I doubt that's for no reason. It's because it's a game MS is backing, so you want it to do well and be perceived well.

It's just like when Destiny was getting criticized and PS gamers were saying "just play the game. It'll get better". It's not "console wars". It's your preference. Of course you want Xbox promoted games to do well because that benefits you, as an Xbox gamer. What's "console wars" about wanting the platform you own (or have preference toward) to benefit?

Damn dude, I wasn't trying to criticize you. It's just obvious why you're backing the game so much when it's being criticized for very obvious reasons.

Another overhyped "shiny" average game! The combat is so messy, lacks precision & emotion...

pfff, its the best hunting game ever!  and the game is fun, it has a lot of problems, but it is fun.  you dont need good gunplay if you shooting with automatic weapons on a giant monster. would be one of the better console fps if they hadnt cut all the content...

lol to you sir, Counter Strike is an on-line game, the fact that you can train offline with a bot filled game mode doesn't make it less an on-line game.

Gamers don't buy these games to play in arenas against bots... I get that you like the game, but don't be so forceful about it, it makes you look like there is money at stake for you in this... did you bet a sig control about the sales of this game?
