For future reference maybe address points actually being discussed instead of making up your own, eh? Someone said the game is online only. The game is not online only. You can play every mode, every map, and unlock every character and upgrade offline against bots. I don't see where you are getting confused on that.

I like how dispelling FUD now makes you a secret agent being paid to promote a game on a very small message board for a limited number of people to see. If I were a viral marketer I'd be on IGN or GAF or Reddit, not Chartz. I feel sorry for people who feel this way.

What backing does this game even have from MS? It says Xbox on the commercials or something? Xbox got some exclusive beta preload? I am interested in the game because it's an awesome game. And I was interested well before E3 of last year when the MS marketing deal was revealed. And I'm not trying hard to get anyone to like anything. Like I told the always offline guy earlier, hate the game if you want. But I will correct people when they are wrong, as I am doing now with you. You're welcome.

What PS gamer was defending Destiny aside from ethomaz? And you could blindly assume it's because of Sony's deal with Activision, but based on his play time, it's a much safer and more logical bet that he just really likes the game. Anyone worried about unlock rates from the beta needn't worry. I played two matches with Goliath and already have Kraken almost unlocked. And am just about to unlock the second trapper as well. And you can really boost the shit out of them against the AI offline.

And I was just as interested in this game as anyone else when it was first revealed. Great idea to have 4v1, with the 1 getting ever so much more difficult for the 4 as you survive longer, conversely, the 4 player team needs to strategize more as the monster gets tougher. And it's made by the guys who made L4D? What could go wrong there?

Then, we find all this day 1 DLC, $15 monsters, etc. and the on disc content is light. Lo and behold, only Xbox fans are the ones defending the game (because it's an Xbox marketed game).

Yea, the game being marketed as a "PS exclusive" had no bearing on why a lot of PS fans tried to look passed its flaws. The pattern is obvious for games in these particular situations.

Now, like I said, it's not "console wars" to want a game that benefits your console to be good. It doesn't make you a fanboy. If "I want Evolve to do good because it will help Xbox. And I like Xbox" is "console wars", then damn, I guess I'm a PS shill for wanting FFXV to help PS4 in Japan, because it'll help me get more Japanese centric games on my console.
