No different than when PS fans were going crazy over Destiny. It benefitted PS more if Destiny did well. So, PS fans were all over that game because if PS did well, then PS gamers are benefitted.

I think that Microsoft smelled a failure way too late. After they signed a deal and all the DLC ripped out of the main game started surfacing, they knew that the game will fail, so they decided not to support it with bundles. 

I thought MS lived for ways to charge extra, since they startted dlc on consoles and payed online and almost whent through no used games and drm. They knew what they where getting into and they probably had a bundle planned but they did another 180 as they are famous for them now.
