For the record, I've only ever purchased 1 Pokemon game in my life, I've never upgraded to any handheld revision, I've only bought 1 2D Mario (which is the series everyone says is milked) and I have 2 amiibo. You know what they say about assumptions.

Edit: Scratch that. My Wii U came with NSMBU, so technically I've never bought a 2D Mario game.

If Nintendo haven't been so lazy has they have been with the heavy focus on Gimmicks, and decided to create a Gamecube 2 or something. They might hit the sweet spot that most gamers have been waiting for. and why should they have financial troubles? All their first party games sells about 10-15 million each.

I knew a lot of shit about Nintendo, but there is always something new that suprises me, those small little details. Sony, Microsoft and nintendo keeps on suprising me, some good and some bad. all the time.  PC master race anyone?

Anyway, OT: I think ps4 will win because so far it seems that PS4 don't really need a reason to win every month. And, because there is no regular new 3DS, only the XL model, so this will probably hurt the sales.

The Gamecube in my view, the last good console Nintendo had. even though the Wii did a lot better in sales, and pretty much crushed last gen competitions. 

And i think that people are tired of that Gimmicky stuff now, which is why Kinect and Wii U wasn't doing so great in sales. 

Third party supporrt and new IP's with new characters would be a new start as well.

And i agree with you, The Ps4 haven't had a reason to sell until now with the order and Bloodborne. It's exciting to see where how all that goes Lol

I would say the PS4. I would say it will come down towards how well received The Order 1886 is received. If that happens, I would expect a 7,000 difference with the following numbers:


PS4: 260K

3DS: 253K


If The Order doesn't do well, then the 3DS will win by 3,000

5-10 is a huge over exaggeration, it's actually 3-5, in which case PSP, 360, PS3, Vita all fall in that range.

Same game every year just like Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, FIFA, Madden, Forza, Halo, Ratchet, God of War. U don't buy both versions, barely anybody does that, the point is to promote trading with other people because the goal is to make it a social game.

What do u expect from series that have been around for 15-30 years? Every extremely popular franchise that has been around that long has that many entries.

Amiibo is the same price as Skylanders/Disney Infinity figurines, that's called being competitively priced. At least Amiibo are optional, there is not a single game that makes u own them, unlike Skylanders/Disney Infinity where the game is unplayable without buying the figurines.

Yep Nintendo makes no new games, that's why Xenoblade Chronicles, Steel Diver, Dillon's Rolling Western, Wonderful 101, Rusty's Real Deal Baseball, Codename STEAM, Splatoon and probably some others have released in the last 5 years.

U seem to be ripping on Nintendo for doing things that literally the entire industry is guilty of.

Will be a hard fight but I will go with 3DS it has Zelda bundles. PS4 has no The Order bundle.
