Can a game outsell its own console? Animal Crossing kinda could at this point.

Depends on how well it'll do in Japan if you think about it. If Animal Crossing U will sell well enough in Japan, then it will definitely outsell the original!

Yeah. Animal Crossing moves consoles. I feel like a Wii U version would be amazing. It'll sell over 4m or maybe 5m lifetime easily.

The original AC was named Animal Forest actually.

It also was a Japan exclusive N64 game :P
