Ultra dumb comparison to GoT, makes me wonder if the person making the comparison has a single clue about GoT. I guess they both have "of" as the middle word and they're 3 word titles.
But a well done LoZ could be fun. But it means link will finally have a voice, which it seems the uberfans won't like.

Link has always had a voice. We just don't hear it for whatever reason. 

I'm considering it. I've gone for too long without writing fanfiction (no sarcasm), and now that I have this concept in my mind, I want to work on either this or a specific story based on the Mega Man series.

The Mega Man story (the working name is "Legacies") is something I've been thinking about doing for a while. My goal with that is to take the Mega Man Classic, X, and Zero series and distill them into a single narrative. The plan would be to deviate from source material a lot of the time (some NES games don't have much plot to work with by themselves for example) while still drawing as many characters, plot points, settings, and ideas from the games as possible. There would be three main "Arcs." The first arc (Classic series) would focus on Dr Light and Dr Wily, and would use Mega Man, Proto Man, Bass, etc. as an illustration for how the two ideologically deviated and created different legacies. The second arc (X series) would be a story about X and Zero, the creations of duelling makers, the gifts given to them by said creators, and their attempts to live in a world largely built by those two men. The last arc (Zero series) would focus on Zero's attempt to create a new legacy that defies what he was supposed to do. Some thematic ideas I have for that story include the basic ethics of Artificial Intelligence and Transhumanism, the importance of one's Legacy, and the importance of one's intentions.

I'm going to play around with both concepts a bit before starting to actually write something out, but feel free to make suggestions, give opinions, etc.

If this show is a live action version of that cartoon I'll totally watch it.
