Pfft look how tiny the map is =P

FFXV

Calm down Im only joking. I pressume they wont just let you fly in your mech across the entire map though... would kind of break the game =P

I will be impressed by FFXV if its world is as big as that continent on XenoX. The biggest showcase we have seen makes it look more like a dragons dogma. So, im expecting a small open world with some cool "scripted" fights. To be honest though... i even doubt they will give us the freedom to go about the entire world doing what we want while ignoring the main plot.

I really recommend reasonable expectations in regards to FFXV. Today's japanese square has not delivered an open world. The closest thing i have seen is FFXIV, wich is good enough, but certainly not huge. If they manage to pull that off, i will be satisfied enough.

Isn't that kinda the point of the world size and mech? There's not a ton of in these big open areas, so it makes sense that can fly through it.

Well, the fact that the game is 22GB clears up the whole "are Wii U disks 25 or 50GB" debate.

Also, Pro Controller support! 720p native resolution.

As of yet, have seen no mention of Pro Controller compatibility. That scares me.

Lol Im not expecting anything near XCX tbh which Im totally ok with. A massive world isnt everything, in fact it can be quite a bad thing when done wrong. In fact the most expansive world Ive ever enjoyed was FFXII's... not exactly a behemoth.

XBC did it fairly well though, it was far from my fave part of the game but it was something rather unique you dont see in the genre often.
The mechs definitely seem to make exploring the massive world more fun, although we all know its the tiny hidden caves that make exploration worthwhile... something I hope Aonuma knows.

USB Keyboard... for online chat?? =D

I reall hope this game gets the sales it deserves in Japan. I think the West alone will give it a 1m in sales :)

Its a big ask but if Nintendo promote it right they could potentially sell 250k+

I think 1m is optimistic, when bigger franchises like Donkey Kong take nearly a year to hit that kind of milestone
