So, im expecting a small open world with some cool "scripted" fights. I really recommend reasonable expectations in regards to FFXV. Today's japanese square has not delivered an open world. The closest thing i have seen is FFXIV, wich is good enough, but certainly not huge.

Lol Im not expecting anything near XCX tbh which Im totally ok with. A massive world isnt everything, in fact it can be quite a bad thing when done wrong. In fact the most expansive world Ive ever enjoyed was FFXII's... not exactly a behemoth.

XBC did it fairly well though, it was far from my fave part of the game but it was something rather unique you dont see in the genre often.
The mechs definitely seem to make exploring the massive world more fun, although we all know its the tiny hidden caves that make exploration worthwhile... something I hope Aonuma knows.
