I'm not sure how sales are cited as a source for being memorable and people are picking P5, yet Persona historically has never sold all that well. In fact, Xenoblade's only release has sold more than Persona's highest selling entry, which is P4G.
I don't think sales necessarily make a game more memorable. I think quality and impact on the genre make a game memorable. All of these titles have the chance to do just that, regardless of how many people play them.

No one is saying that it is a game's sales that make it more memorable. But the more people that play it (i.e. the greater the sales) the greater the chance it has to be memorable.
As for the people picking P5, they're excited and hyped because of the new trailer. Before that trailer released most of them would probably be saying FFXV or XCX.
I want all of them! But I only have a PS3 at this time. So I would have to vote for Persona 5 ~~^^

That makes more sense, although that isn't the case for many games. So many games don't sell all that great yet are very memorable for a lot of people (Shenmue, Bayonetta and Persona being notable examples).
And I don't have a problem with people picking P5. That game looks great. I only had an issue with the people saying XCX won't be memorable because not a lot of people will play it, while in the same breath claim Persona 5 will be the most memorable, when perhaps less people will play that game. And if it's not less, it'll be in the same general ballpark.

The games you listed are memorable on the internet though. The internet is pretty much a niche compared to the real world.
As for the P5 vs XCX, if I had to guess, they're probably expecting P5 to sell much better than XCX, which is very possible and thus it will have a better chance to be memorable in comparison to XCX.
I'm excited for Persona 5 and FFXV. If I had to pick one it'd be Persona. That new gameplay trailer got me hype
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
Of these 3 it's too easy. Now if we only had a good JRPG that's also on the correct platform.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
Xenoblade easily wins, everyone who played the original game knows that it plays on the same level as FFVII / VIII, DQ V / VIII or Chrono Cross / Trigger and is one of the best JRPGs ever created.
FFXV plays in a much lower league since FF lost most of his former glory.
Out of these three I would take Xenoblade. I hated persona 3 and 4, so I don't have much hope for 5, though it does look interesting. There seems to be a darker theme and demons appear to be back. And Square Enix is hit or miss these days.
