Good question.

I believe XCX will end up being the best game overall, but I'm much more hyped for FFXV so that's my pick.

Also, I'll probably buy Persona 5 day 1 but I'm not that hyped.



Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

The only properly definable measure for how "memorable for the JRPG genre" a game will be is the number of people that will remember it. That is, of course, directly tied to the number of people who buy/play it.

I think the question you're actually trying to ask is "which game will be remembered the most fondly by those who play it".

I'll remember FF XV as "the backstreet boys road trip" XC as "that Nintendo Mech game" and Persona 5 as "the Phatom with swag"

All 3 are gonna be good but I am happy to have the platform that have 2 of them.
My order in level of excitement :
1. FF15
2. Persona 5
3 XCX if I ever get a Wii U

FFXV since it'll be the only one of those that will have amazing sales and be considered "mainstream" as a result. Having a lot more of an impact in the genre.

For now XCX > P5 >>>> FF XV for me.

And? Xenoblade is remembered for being a Wii game that few people outside of the internet played.

Memorable? FF XV and P5. FF XV is xbone/ps4 and has the Final Fantasy name to leech off of. XC X will be probably be the least memorable because it's just on the wii u which has the smallest amount of users. There's simply less people to remember it.
