Forums - Sony - Why do you still keep your Vita?

I'm so close to finishing Persona 4 Golden, I've got Danganronpa to finish after that, then Danganronpa 2. Then Ratchet 3. I might go back and finish Gravity Rush. Oh and the Sly Trilogy, and then i'll pick up FFX/X2 sometime.

That'll keep me busy for about 3 years.

because i'm not poor, thus don't need to sell it to buy something else.

I keep it because I play games on it almost daily. Past year easily been my most used system. I cannot rate it high enough and 2015 looks strong as well.

I use mine solely for Netflix. I'd sell it tomorrow if Netflix stopped working on it.

I enjoyed the few games I did play on it but there hasn't been anything I wanted to play on it for a long time. I should clarify that by saying there have been a few games I was interested in but they were also on PC and/or console which I prefer playing on if given the choice.

Cause all the Japanese support is pretty great.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Persona is one helluva drug.

"I think it will be the HDS"-Me in regards to Nintendo's next handheld.

For me, it's just in case Team Gravity goes forward with releasing Gravity Rush 2 on it instead of PS4. If GR2 does release on PS4, then my Vita will pretty become nothing more than a paper weight for when I'm really bored and want to do some remote play.

0331 Happiness is a belt-fed weapon

Lots of very good games on the system.

Because it's my Binding of Isaac Rebirth machine.

"On my business card I am a corporate president. In my mind I am a game developer. But in my heart I am a gamer." - Satoru Iwata

Just wanted to add that in the last month I have realized I wasted 3 years of my life being a moron dealing with iOS and Android device trying to find the best gaming phone I could, yet I had the best gaming phone ever made sitting at home collecting dust.

I let my anger towards Sony for not offering a pure Vita Phone blind me, and I feel like I have a hole in my stomach. I ended up talking my brother out of a 3G Vita, and have told many people to buy a smartphone or 3DS because Vita is trash. Everyone knows I am a huge Sony fan, and when I said that, no one ever even gave the thing a second chance. Even worse now, is the fact that they don't even sell a 3G or 4G model anymore. So now that I have seen the light, even people that are interested have no option to even buy one.

To end this I just want to say, the Vita is a brilliant little device, and I feel absolutly terrible for any effect I may have caused. Even if it was only 50 or 100 people that did not buy a Vita due to me, it is one of my biggest regrets. I kept my Vita, because I am a Sony fan, and knew I would be somewhat satisfied even with the few Sony games that released on it. Now, I keep it because it is the single greast mobile gaming device ever made, and I use it, support the store, and promote it, in hopes that one day we will see a Vita Phone or 4G model that can re-ignite the flame, and bring this euphoric experience to all that deserve it.
