Both were great, but I find the 3 more exciting.

Prime 2, just cause I preferred lock-on to motion controls and loved the dark world. Prime 3 was a great game too though.

I prefer Prime 3 to 2, but neither come close to the greatness of the original Prime. The reason for preferring the 3rd game would be the variety in the gameplay.

Very well said sir

I say Prime 3. 2 had the feeling of isolation that 3 lacked, but loses points for the oft-aggravating light/dark system. 3 just had so many awesome things you could do, and the motion controls felt really good. Then you've just got crazy epic story stuff happening. Just a really varied and exciting experience.

Prime 2 for me. I felt that with the exception of Sky Town, everything in Prime 2--the Luminoth, the Ing, Aether--were better, more fitting contributions to the Metroid universe than the noisy characters and bounty hunters of Prime 3.

Metroid Prime 3, becausePrime 2 was simply too annoying at times for my liking! It is still a good game though!

I prefer Echoes if I'm playing it with Wii controls.

Prime 2 while it has some way too big difficulty spikes (The Spider Guardian... Ugh) at times, it has some of the best boss battles in the Metroid series, has a really fitting atmosphere, and is an amazing experience overall.

Prime 3 is a really good game. Just not as good as Prime 2 in my opinion. It was really easy compared to Prime 1 and Prime 2, and I dislike the story. I prefer the Wiimote control scheme over the Gamecube one the other two games used, though.

So for me Metroid Prime 2 (Trilogy version) > Metroid Prime 2 > Metroid Prime 3

Prime 3, it definitely was the perfect way to conclude the story, and I found the diverse worlds to be more appealing than Aether. Sure it broke the staple of most things being on one planet (if we don't include hunters) but the exploration aspects and back tracking are still present, just streamlined. I wish Prime 3 wasn't so easy though compared to Prime 2.
