Amiibos aren't the focus for SSB, never have been. Also there are many cross over Nintendo titles, i dont get how that has anything to do with amiibo made game.

Amiibo game doesn't have to be Ahuge SSB cross over game. It could be a pokemon game or a super mario line game for example.

Pokemon, I think, would have the most potential there, but I think there are too many factors in whether that idea would work without seeing what Nintendo has in mind. For that, I think we'll have to wait and see.

Really? Points 1+2 show that at best only 1/4th of the amiibos launched. With many stock problems on some of the characters as well.

That and especially #3 with An Amiibo game you dont think it'll grow by a good margin? Also there is pokemon... And amiibo cards that will come in the future.

The first point is true. However, I doubt the ones that follow will be even close to as popular as the ones already released. Franchise faithful might pick up some of the supporting characters, but I'd argue most of the sales potential has already been reached, without something new added to the mix.

As for the third point, yes, I think a game has that potential. I just don't expect them to be able to do it without poisoning the metaphorical well.

You never kno, with certain characters, people go crazy over. Example, there is a huge fanbase following Waluigi (weird i know). Making an amiibo off of him, and other characters not in SSB will keep sales up.I wont eve get into pokemon >_>

As for the third point, guess we'll wait and see. It really depends on wat game if it comes out will be. Imhoping for a KH type of game personally

Sounds like amiibo are a resounding success!

Fair enough :)

Nintendo wouldnt make a platformer? er ok then

I'm rather talking about having to buy more and more figures just to play the game. Not about it being a platformer =p

Ahh ok got you. Yea i noticed that on my kids skylander game , he needed more and more figures just to have enough lives to get through levels..hes not allowed anymore skylander or infinity games now bless him. I think a nintendoland type platformer game could work though. Maybe a few stages for mario, a dungeon or two for link etc

ice. Imagine how much money they'd have made if the Wii U was selling half as good as the Wii? Nintendo knows how to make money.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

I see men in my local hardware store running around with plastic bins, talking on the telephone with their friends and just filling the bin up with Amiibo's. Disney Infinity and Skylander toy's are now just looking sad.

How about amiibo pokemon???

lmao, I've already purchased 7 and have 12 about to ship home.

Looks like I'll have to collect them all now.

IMO they will unveil an Amiibo Universe type title at E3 for both the Wii U and 3DS.

That will be their big fall 2015 title.

Toys are going to be a big part of Nintendo's future IMO. Been saying this for a while.
